The 4 Milestones
Milestone 1: Direction Round
What happens: we design the homepage to establish your site’s core system: navigation, footer, typography, color, layout rhythm, and overall visual direction. This becomes the blueprint for the rest of the site.
Why it matters: you see the “whole vibe” before we expand. It’s the fastest way to align and avoid expensive rework.
Your role: review and approve direction. This is the moment for style and structure feedback.
Milestone 2: Build Round
What happens: we build the full site: pages, content layout, core functionality, and conversion pathways. You’ll see the entire website working as a system.
Why it matters: this is where content, user flow, and trust-building come together. We make sure the experience makes sense to real visitors.
Your role: review content, test links, confirm messaging, and flag anything missing or unclear.
Milestone 3: Polish + QA Round
What happens: we implement final revisions and run quality assurance: mobile responsiveness, image optimization, basic SEO hygiene, performance checks, form testing, and final UX cleanup.
Why it matters: this is where the site goes from “good” to “ready to represent you publicly.”
Your role: final approval. At this stage we’re refining, not re-sculpting.
Milestone 4: Launch
What happens: final pre-launch checks, technical configuration, and go-live. If we’ve built on a temporary domain, we migrate and verify everything on your final URL.
Why it matters: launches fail in the details. We handle the behind-the-scenes steps so the rollout is smooth.
Your role: celebrate, then we confirm post-launch items and handoff.
What Happens After Launch
If you want the site to stay fast, secure, and current, you’ll need a maintenance plan. We offer options ranging from essential updates to ongoing optimization and paid media support.
